WIC is a supplemental nutrition program that provides nutritious foods such as milk, cheese, eggs, cereal and infant formula at no cost to families with pregnant women or young children. Through this program the families also receive nutritional counseling from trained dieticians and referrals for health care. Income guidelines must be met for eligibility in the program. The Henry County Public Health staff comes to the Henry County WIC clinics two days per month. WIC Clinics are held at the First Presbyterian Church, 902 S. Walnut, Mt. Pleasant.
