The HCHC Auxiliary was formed in 1962 to promote the mission of Henry County Health Center through activities, programs and fundraising approved by the membership and the HCHC Board of Trustees. The Auxiliary transitioned to Friends of Henry County Health Center in 2017. Our $5 dues paid yearly are used to support health career scholarships, equipment purchases and numerous other community and hospital programs. Every fall we hold a Soup Supper to raise money for the healthcare scholarships. Members are asked to help with this once-a-year fundraiser by either donating a few hours of their time, a food or baked good donation, or a small monetary donation. Other fundraisers include linen sales and carnation sales as well as the $5 Jewelry Sales.
You don’t have to commit a large amount of time to the Friends of HCHC; just being a member shows your support. However, if you want to get involved, there are numerous volunteer opportunities.
