Immunization Clinics

Immunization Clinics are held at the Henry County Department of Public Health located at 106 N. Jackson St., Suite 101, Mount Pleasant. The phone number is 319-385-0779.

Wednesdays and Thursdays: 1 – 4 p.m.
1st & 3rd Thursday of every month: 1 – 6 p.m.
Tuesdays: 9 – 11 a.m.

Recommended Vaccines

Preteens and Teens Immunizations

A parent or guardian must accompany the child to sign permission forms prior to immunization.  Regular childhood vaccines are available for VFC (Vaccine for Children) eligible* children at no charge.

* VFC eligible children are 0-18 years of age who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Enrolled in Medicaid
  • Uninsured (have no insurance)
  • Underinsured (have health care coverage but the benefit plan does not include coverage for immunizations)

Adult Immunizations

Adult vaccinations include Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, Tetanus/Diphtheria, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis, MMR, Meningitis and Flu vaccine.  TB testing is also available. Call 319.385.0779 for pricing.
