Wayland/Winfield Community ClinicsResidents of these communities can be assured that they are entrusting their health to qualified healthcare professionals at these outreach clinics. Tess Judge-Ellis, DNP, ARNP, Kendra Bonnesen, ARNP, FNP-C, CNM, and Jessica Anderson, DNP, ARNP, (pictured l-r) provide patients with high quality healthcare services, diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions in a care and cure atmosphere. In addition to providing acute care, they focus on preventive care and health education for area residents. HCHC provides support services for the Clinics.

Meet the providers

Tess Judge-Ellis, DNP, ARNP, earned a Masters of Science in Nursing from Pacific Lutheran University, with a primary specialty as a board certified family nurse practitioner. She was an Army nurse, and serves as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Iowa College of Nursing. She also completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, and finished a post-graduate program in psychiatry/mental health at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She is also board certified as a family psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner.  She sees patients on Tuesdays and Fridays at the Winfield Clinic.

Jessie Anderson, DNP, ARNP, graduated from the University of Iowa College of Nursing with both her Bachelor’s Degree and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing, and is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Iowa. She sees patients on Mondays, Wednesday mornings, and Thursdays at Wayland Clinic, and Wednesday afternoons and Fridays at Winfield Clinic.

Kendra Bonnesen, ARNP, FNP-C, CNM, earned a Masters of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program from Frontier Nursing University, where she also earned a Post-Master’s Certificate in Nurse Midwifery. She sees patients at Winfield Community Clinic on Tuesdays, with the remainder of the week spent seeing patients at Henry County Health Center Physicians & Clinics as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse-Midwife. She is also an Advanced Nurse Lactation Consultant and Certified Lactation Counselor.
